HeikenAshi technique discussed in the article 'Using Heiken-Ashi Technique' in February 2004 issue of TASC magazine.
NinjaTrader 8 natively provides Heiken Ashi as a bar type for most common bar types (minute, tick, volume, second, day, week, month, year).
This Heiken Ashi indicator is provided for the Range, Renko and any custom bar types that may be added.
The native HeikenAshi bar type has rounded values to allow proper order pricing. This indicator version does not round values.
The indicator performs in the same manner as the NinjaTrader 7 version.

Importing to NinjaTrader 8 is Easy!
To import your 3rd party app or add-on to NinjaTrader, simply follow these 3 steps:
- Download the app or add-on file to your desktop
- From the NinjaTrader Control Center window, select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On…
- Select the downloaded file from your desktop
