About Raul Jimenez
Raul Jimenez is a trader and developer with a background in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems Development. He has worked as consultant, and technology specialist in software development and technology applications. In the early 1990’s, Raul started his journey as a trader and remains a trader to this day. During those early years, Raul tried many different systems, analysis tools, and trade setups, but the outcome was that he would win on some trades and lose on others with small profits and no real advances. As he learned more about trading and markets, he saw a need for repeatable solutions that would incorporate tools from different vendors. This is something most traders encounter through their years trading – they try to find the best tools to incorporate into their trading systems. Due to Raul’s background in development and data visualization, his quest led to coding his trading and analysis methodology into indicators that he could use for his own trading. In 2006, he developed what became the indicator family of iCinDER™ cycles, velocity, and market forces. These same indicators are the ones he uses daily to trade futures, equities, and currency markets.
