RR Profit Targets Strategy Builder Example

This is meant as an Example for Strategy Builder. Shows how to build custom RR Profit Targets on Builder.

With these RR Targets, we take the distance between your Initial Entry and your Stop, we then multiply that number by our desired RR ratio and set our profit target.

Example:

  • 1RR = 1:1
  • 2RR = 2:1
  • 3RR = 3:1..so on

This is mainly helpful to those trading with a custom stop size that changes on every trade and you want to keep your targets the same distance in relation to your Stop.

Utilizes a Custom Series in order to perform the calculations required.

Importing to NinjaTrader 8 is Easy!

To import your 3rd party app or add-on to NinjaTrader, simply follow these 3 steps:

  1. Download the app or add-on file to your desktop
  2. From the NinjaTrader Control Center window, select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On…
  3. Select the downloaded file from your desktop
