KINFX Simple Prop Day Guard — Daily Loss / Target lockout

KINFX Prop Day Guard

What is this tool?

KINFX Prop Day Guard is a standalone NinjaTrader 8 Control Center AddOn that watches multiple accounts and enforces per-account Daily Loss Limits (DLL) and Daily Profit Targets (DPT). It is designed for prop-style and multi-account workflows. It is NOT a trade copier — it does not copy orders between accounts. When a limit is hit, you choose an action: alert, lock, flatten, or flatten + lock (optional block new orders while locked).

Main Features

• Standalone window: Control Center → New → KINFX Prop Day Guard
• Multi-account table: Account, Balance (NetLiq), Day P&L
• Per-account Daily Loss Limit (DLL) — Off / 0 = disabled
• Per-account Daily Profit Target (DPT) — Off / 0 = disabled
• Per-limit actions: Off / Alert / Lock / Flatten / Flat+Lock / Flat+Lock+Block
• Manual Lock checkbox per account
• Summary badge: e.g. 0/5 locked · watching count
• Connection LED + “Connected only” filter
• Optional: Day P&L includes unrealized
• Optional: block/cancel new working orders while account is locked
• Settings saved under DocumentsNinjaTrader 8kinfxPropDayGuard.settings.xml
• Chinese-friendly labels in UI tooltips; free / open source BETA

How to Use (Step by Step)

1. Install
• Download the ZIP → Control Center → Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On…
• Compile if prompted (F5).

2. Open the tool
• Control Center → New → KINFX Prop Day Guard

3. Select accounts
• Leave “Connected only” on to hide idle accounts
• Check Watch on accounts you want to monitor

4. Set limits
• DLL: max daily loss in $ (example 2000). Type Off or 0 to disable
• DPT: daily profit target in $ (example 1000). Off / 0 = disable
• Choose DLL Action and DPT Action for each account

5. Optional hard protection
• Enable “Block new orders when locked” to cancel new working orders on locked accounts
• Use Manual Lock to force a lock without waiting for a limit

6. Save
• Click Save (also saves on window close)

Important Notes

• BETA software. Free open-source NinjaScript (unprotected source for User App Share). No external DLLs.
• NOT a trade copier. It will not mirror Master fills to followers.
• Day P&L depends on NinjaTrader account items; always verify against your broker / prop dashboard.
• Flatten / order cancel require a working connection and may need Automated Trading enabled.
• Blocking new orders is best-effort (cancels working orders when locked). Always verify positions manually.
• You are responsible for all trades and risk. Test on Simulation first.

This tool is built for prop-style multi-account day risk control with a clear lockout dashboard.

Futures, options, foreign currency, digital asset, and event contract trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for everyone. An investor may lose all or more than the initial investment. Trading should be undertaken only with risk capital—funds that can be lost without jeopardizing one’s financial security or lifestyle—and only by those who can afford such losses. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Prior to trading digital assets, review the CFTC and NFA advisories for additional information regarding the significant risks involved. View Risk Disclosure Statement.

NFA Rule 2-29(c): Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
