The MACD Crossover strategy was published in the March 09 Stocks and Commodities article authored by Donald W. Pendergast Jr. titled "Trade System Evaluation".

Update 8/6/2021 - Changed logic to match NT7 which uses the MACD average line and provides an option to use the MACD line itself.

Importing to NinjaTrader 8 is Easy!
To import your 3rd party app or add-on to NinjaTrader, simply follow these 3 steps:
- Download the app or add-on file to your desktop
- From the NinjaTrader Control Center window, select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On…
- Select the downloaded file from your desktop
