This is a slope indicator that has some enhanced options for slope normalization and de‐trending. Normalization helps with scaling issues, and/or factors in volatility.
User defined inputs
ColorDown : Color for slope <= 0 ColorUp : Color for slope >0
Detrend : Enables/Disables detrending (using linear regression)
DetrendPeriod : Period for the detrend.
InputType : Which moving average to use (or default input)
NormType : Which normalization technique to use
Period : Period for any moving average
Smooth : Smoothing period
Normalization types include "current price", "average price", "average true range" and "standard deviation". "Normalization" is just CurrentSlope / NormalizerValue.
Input types include default, DEMA, EMA, HMA, LinRegSlope, SMA, TEMA, TMA, WMA, and ZLEMA.

Importing to NinjaTrader 8 is Easy!
To import your 3rd party app or add-on to NinjaTrader, simply follow these 3 steps:
- Download the app or add-on file to your desktop
- From the NinjaTrader Control Center window, select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On…
- Select the downloaded file from your desktop
