Salma’s Key Price Levels

SALMA'S KEY LEVELS - WMQY LEVELS & ID LEVELS

This package include two indicators for the NinjaTrader desktop platform: SalmaKeyWMQYLevels) and SalmaKeyIDLevels) (ID = Intraday)

===================================
WMQY LEVELS (Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly)
===================================

OVERVIEW (Indicator Name: SalmaKeyWMQYLevels)
Plots the higher-timeframe reference levels from Salma's Key Levles. For each tier you get the current period's open plus the previous period's high, low, close, and mid, along with a live Current Year high, low, and mid. Levels come from NinjaTrader's own Week, Month, and Year data requests, not the chart's bars, so the indicator works on any chart timeframe without a year of intraday history loaded. Quarterly is built from the monthly data since NinjaTrader has no native quarter bar. Levels are ETH or full session. Needs a data connection, since levels are fetched asynchronously and appear a moment after the chart loads.

You can find this indicator in the Salma folder at the top of the indicator list.

PLOTS
WO - Weekly Open
PWH / PWL / PWC / PWM - Prev Week High, Low, Close, Mid
MO - Monthly Open
PMH / PML / PMC / PMM - Prev Month High, Low, Close, Mid
QO - Quarterly Open
PQH / PQL / PQC / PQM - Prev Quarter High, Low, Close, Mid
YO - Yearly Open
PYH / PYL / PYC / PYM - Prev Year High, Low, Close, Mid
CYH / CYL / CYM - Current Year High, Low, Mid (live, in-progress year)

Mid = (High + Low) / 2 for each pair above.

===================================
ID LEVELS (Intraday)
===================================

OVERVIEW (Indicator Name: SalmaKeyIDLevels)
Plots the key intraday reference levels from Salma's Key Levels: Midnight Open, Asia and London session highs and lows, and RTH/ETH daily levels (open plus previous period high, low, close, mid). Everything is calculated from the chart's own bars, so there are no external data requests. Built for ETH or continuous intraday charts (ES, NQ, etc.) on a 1 to 15 minute timeframe. An RTH-only session template will not show Asia, London, or Midnight since those need overnight bars. Session and daily levels clear at 17:00 ET and reappear when the session reopens. Midnight Open persists all day.

You can find this indicator in the Salma folder at the top of the indicator list.

PLOTS
Midnight Open - Open of the 00:00 ET bar
AS H / AS L - Asia session High/Low (20:00 to 00:00 ET)
LON H / LON L - London session High/Low (03:00 to 08:00 ET)
RTH O - RTH Open (09:30 ET)
RTH PDH / PDL / PDC / PDM - Prev RTH day High, Low, Close, Mid
ETH O - ETH Open (18:00 ET)
ETH PDH / PDL / PDC / PDM - Prev ETH day High, Low, Close, Mid

Mid = (High + Low) / 2 for each pair above.

SHARED SETTINGS (both indicators)
===================================

Hours Behind New York sets your chart clock's offset from ET (ET=0, CT=1, MT=2, PT=3; negative if your clock runs ahead of NY). Neither indicator auto-adjusts for daylight saving, so nudge the offset by one at the DST switch. Both also let you toggle price-on-label, force all-white lines, pick line style, and set font size, bold, and per-tier colors and widths.

Label Offset Bars sets how far right of the last bar the labels sit, in bar-widths: 0 places them on the bars, and each step pushes them one bar-width further right (range 0-6, default 1). Merge Overlapping Labels combines the labels of any levels that sit within Merge Tolerance (ticks) of each other into one label (for example PWH/PMH 5432.25), so close levels do not print on top of each other; the lines still draw separately. Turn it off to keep a separate label per level (default on, tolerance 3 ticks).

Futures, options, foreign currency, digital asset, and event contract trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for everyone. An investor may lose all or more than the initial investment. Trading should be undertaken only with risk capital—funds that can be lost without jeopardizing one’s financial security or lifestyle—and only by those who can afford such losses. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. NFA Rule 2-29(c): Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
